TRAINING SESSIONS


The club hosts a series of sessions throughout the week. These are open to all members and we cater for a range of abilities. We regularly check to ensure no one is left behind and promote inclusivity. Some runners will loop back to the rear marker, some stop and chat until everyone has caught up. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page where members post additional informal runs/trails.

Thursday 2 May

6:15PM Club “Meal” Night (Church Hall, St Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church on Quarry Park Road PL9 7BB)

An Out and Back Route. This is an ideal session for beginners as you follow a Hare until you encounter them returning, whereupon you turnaround and head back to the club…so the pace and mileage is up to you!

After there is the chance to catch up with your fellow runners over refreshments and biscuits!

9AM – 5k Parkrun – No matter where you are in the UK, or the world for that matter there’s bound to be a Parkrun near you! A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. You can take part at your own pace – run, jog, walk! If this is your first Parkrun remember to register online and to bring a copy of your barcode.
