Tavistock AC’s Nikki Kelly showed the rest of the field a clean pair of heels as she took overall victory in August’s Armada Summer 5k Series run at Saltram House on Wednesday evening.

Kelly produced a dominant run to clock 18.37 minutes in hot conditions on the tricky multi-terrain course.

Second home was Storm’s Daniel Westlake, who just out-sprinted Pete Waumsley in the closing stages. Westlake clocked 18.59 minutes, with Waumsley third in 19.00.

Fourth overall and second woman was Storm’s Lauren Knox, who clocked 20.13 minutes, with Plymouth Harriers’ Andy Charles fifth in 20.20. Kirstie Prowse was third woman home in 21.26 minutes.
