TAVISTOCK’S Joe Beaton stormed to victory in the Muddy Duck 10k at Plymstock on Saturday evening. Beaton won by nearly two minutes and recorded the fastest time for the off-road race since 2015. He clocked 33.57 minutes for the tough run, which involves water crossings and some short-sharp hills in Plymstock’s Radford Park. Erme Valley Harriers’ Sarah Markwick was first woman home in 44.16 minutes.
